Following our successful race on Easter Monday, Matlock Athletic Club has been delighted to make several donations to support some great charities and local organisations, donating all the profits from this event.
We donated £700 each to:
Ashgate Hospice
Breast Cancer Now
Peak District Mountain Rescue
Our members also nominated a range of charities where we made smaller donations of £200 including Ashbourne Animal Welfare, Crossroads, Derby Mountain Rescue, Meadow View and Pet Samaritans Chesterfield, and £150 donated to Matlock Scouts.
Thanks to all the runners and spectators who made the day worthwhile, and to the members of the club who volunteered their time to make the event possible.
