New "Safety when running" section on MAC website.

I've found that as long as you can outrun the person you're out running with, you should be fine - a reason to do the monday night sprints

Would Clive be kind enough to provide mmbers with a full colour cattle identification chart?
For anyone who has been frightened by Clive's tales, the club is looking to buy a supply of red cloaks. Also, next Thursday, we have a special guest coming to the club to help with this issue - Fernando from Seville.
Seriously though, if running with a dog (as I usually do), let it off the lead a long as it doesn't try to take cattle on. They'll always show more interest in the dog and dogs are better at dodging a charging animal.

I think road running with iPods or similar is a no-no and these are banned in lots of races now.

Good point Jan. I've added something to the "Safety when running" page re. listening to iPods whilst outside running.
