On a calm Tuesday evening 4th September it wasthe Ilam National Trust Fell Race (7.5k/353m), with proceeds from the event
going to the National Trust to help maintain the beautiful Dovedale area. The route goes over Bunster Hill, along the
River Dove and across the famous Dovedale stepping stones then steeply up to
the summit of Flagpole Hill, up and down Thrope Cloud then back along the river
to finish at Ilam Hall.The winner was Harry Holmes, Pudsey & Bramley AC 34.48,Dan Haworth 2nd 35.05, Keswick AC but MAC 2nd claim and 3rdplace MACs Billy Cartwright 36.45. Ruth Keeley,
Belper Harriers was 1st lady 49.54. 111 runners.
