Thanks Bob Foreman for report on Passing Clouds FR Sunday. Well done MACs and GP points too!
On a very hot Sunday 119 runners made their way to Tittesworth Resevoir for the start of the Passing Clouds Fell Race 9.8 miles and 1,500 feet which was also the 5th counter in the MAC GP.
A very tough course through the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands taking in Ramshaw Rocks, The Roaches and Hen Cloud.
The race was won by Jack Ross of Staffs Morlands in 70.04. First Lady home was Lucy Butt unattached and 27th O/A in 89.05.

Near the start, the route followed a footpath through a lovely green field but by the time we returned back through it the farmer had very kindly sprayed it in cow slurry, as if we were not smelling enough from our exertions already.
