MACs were out in force for the parkruns on Saturday 3rd February and at No Walk in the Park 5k and 1,500m fun run that it was a wet and cold morning. For MAC It was last Grand Prix race in the series and with the winners of the Men’s and Ladies’ competition already decided, maybe most MACs were happy not to contest for points. The winner was Chris Leach of N. Derbyshire RC in 18.00. 94 runners.
In the 1500m ‘fun’ race, a close encounter saw two MACs William Croft and Jacob Jones at the head of the field, this time seeing William just taking the first spot but both given the same time at 5.44. Logan Fairey finished 6th in an excellent 6.12. There were 24 runners.
