We're delving in to the MAC vault of bygone speed workouts this Thursday by dusting down the Matlock Bath hills session. It's over an 800m'ish blast up Holme Road and down Waterloo Road, and then back in the reverse direction after an active recovery. There's the option to go shorter by turning off on Hope Terrace or staying on Holme Road, so that means we can set up 3 pace groups.
a bit of a drag (2 miles+) to run down from the Arc, so I suggest 3 options:
1) Meet in Matlock Bath station car park at 6.30pm for a 15/20 minute warm up, that allows anyone wanting to run down being there for the first rep.
2) Run down from the Arc, leaving at 18.30 prompt should get you there by 18.50
3) Running from the Arc to Matlock station and catching the 18.36 EMT to Matlock Bath and the 20.20 backOptions 1 & 3 give the opportunity for a post session beer in the Midland or Fishpond, I'll be on option 1 and will sweep anyone up from Arc reception who wants a lift downCheers, JT
