Matlock Triathlon Report and Results 2019

A  brilliant sunny day for the Matlock Triathlon organised by MAC, Matlock CC and Matlock & District Swimming Club starting at Arc Leisure Matlock.  The event comprises a 400m swim in start waves in the Arc pool followed by a 16.5k cycle taking in Tansley and Lea area and a 5.5k run to finish. This was the 17th running of the race and with a modest entry fee and a friendly atmosphere the race is for novices as well as more experienced triathletes and raises hundreds of pounds for charities.  It was heartening to see so many families taking part too, especially in The Relay Teams - for MAC - the Lesters, Sargeants, Cloughs.  Many thanks to all who made the event a success and to the sponsors and Derbyshire DDD and all!

Rickys Race Results

Thanks to all who either ran or voliunteered to help at Rickys Race, a full field of 200 runners all appeared to enjoy the event. The full results and age category winners can be found on Webscorer and so it's congatulations to our Peak Rail 7 winner Greg Hopkinson in winning his second MAC event of the year, and also to another dual 2019 MAC race winner Eleanor Lunt who produces a repeat performance of her Black Rocks success.
